PROCESS
Pre-Selection Meeting
There will be three available informational Flex meetings for students planning to audition or who would just like more information on CYPA and the show, or for anyone interested in pit, stage crew, or tech. These will occur on November 30, December 1 & December 2. Attendance at meeting is encouraged but not required.
Evaluation
Each person auditioning will be evaluated on the following:

Evaluation
Each person auditioning will be evaluated on the following:
- Vocal - everyone will individually sing a audition selection posted from the posted list above CYPA website
- Dancing - everyone will learn a brief dance combination and do it in a small group for the panel
Callbacks
The callback list will be posted on the bulletin board on Tuesday, December 14. Those called back will be seen for additional singing on Thursday, December 16. There will be vocal selections and acting sides to prepare. If you are not called back, it does not mean you were not cast in the show. Anyone called back should pick up your vocal selections from Mr. Watson and your sides from Mr. Hodge on Thursday morning.
Posting
The cast selections will be announced via email on Saturday morning, December 18. Each person who auditioned will be notified of their status and asked to reply to the email to accept or deny the role offered. The cast list will be posted the following week.
Feedback
Getting feedback on your audition is important. Opportunities will be available for you to receive feedback on what you did well and what you can work on to improve future auditions. Flex sessions will be available after casting notifications are out.
